The Gender-Responsive and Inclusive Technical and Vocational Education and Training in the West Bank including East Jerusalem (GRIT) is a five-year project (2019-2024) funded by the Canadian Government and implemented by the Lutheran World Federation Jerusalem Program (LWF Jerusalem) in partnership with Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR). The GRIT Project is considering a short training program focusing on “E-Marketing” to enhance the capacity of female trainees’ participation in this program and acquire the knowledge, skills, and capacity necessary to develop and run their businesses in their communities. The E-Marketing training is being delivered at Salesians Vocational Training Centre in Bethlehem Governorate.
As part of this project, Edu Station started implementing 2 trainings in partnership with the Salesians Vocational Center for 40 youth females divided into two trainings. The first targeted 25 women entrepreneurs in the Bethlehem area, while the second targeted 15 marketing students in the Business School at Bethlehem University. More three trainings were completed for a total of 61 youth to reach a total of 101 beneficiaries so far.
